In the vicinity of the motorway and shopping centres
They served an excellent breakfast. The hotel was in front of Butterfly World and Bincknoll Castle. Excellent place for a weekend in Swindon! We loved our stay, and we would definitely recommend the venue.
Pretty near to Junction 16 M4.
The place set within a short distance the M4
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was very poor. The food was cold, there was little selection and they had run out of cutlery and milk.
The location was good with good access to the motorway
One of the lifts was out of order. There were a few bus arrivals which meant breakfast was impossible and trying to get in the lift took ages. The staff were not always very helpful or friendly.
The room was very clean and the restaurant was excellent
Efficient and excfellent value for money.
I had to wait for the reception staff to turn up, because they had several different duties during their shift. The one I had seemed a bit confused. Also the breakfast menue was very poor. There were no clean glasses or mugs when I arrived. No vegetables or cheeses. Only packed cerials, toast, scrambled eggs and sausages.
Really pleased we could have an early breakfast not many hotels cater for this. The staff were really helpful and the place was very clean. We will stay again.
Arriving late due to change of business circumstances I found the reception staff excellent and very helpful. Very spacious ground floor reception and social areas with good room and facilities on third floor. Good breakfast in the morning made my stay complete.
You can rely on simple high quality well priced accomodation. This was an excellent place to stop-over, being only a couple of hundred yards from the m4 j16. There were many pubs and restaurants 2 miles down the road in Wootton Basset.
We didn't know the restaurant was shut on Friday and Saturday nights - it would have been annoying if we had been banking on getting food there.
Ease of location, being close to the M4 ,whichalso suited our budget. Plenty of parking spaces , in a secure gated compound. Very pleased with the efficiency of the service provided ,and will be using them again in the future.
The staff were very pleasant and effecient. The room was lovely, and I liked the little touches like the banners on the pillows 'firm' and 'soft'. The decor was very nice, and the bathroom was lovely too. The free newspapers were a nice touch - (or should I have paid for it?!)
The breakfast was disappointing - no butter, the croissants were cooked rather than warmed. The whole breakfast experience seemed to say 'budget' and frankly let the rest of the experience down. Whilst the dining area was very pleasant, not everyone wants to watch tv whilst eating and there was nowhere to escapre from it.
The staff were really friendly and helpful and our room was very clean. The rooms were very well sound proofed as I didn't hear a noise from any of the other rooms.
I would have really liked to have had a bath in the bathroom, we only had a shower and I was really looking forward to having a nice relaxing bath! The air conditioning was too cold for me, it was ok when you had turned it up, but on leaving the room it would go back down again and was too cold for me when we came back to the room. Also the key card system meant that when my husband went outside for a cigarette he couldn't let himself back into the room, as if he took the card with him, all the electrics would go off in the room!
